Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

• Email address and name (provided during registration or via Google OAuth)
• Video files you upload for processing
• Count results and analysis outputs
• Usage data (job history, processing time used)
• Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the traffic counting service
• To manage your account and quota
• To send transactional emails (job completion, billing receipts)
• We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell your data

3. Video Data

Your uploaded videos are stored securely on Cloudflare R2. They are used solely to run the AI analysis you request. Videos are automatically deleted 30 days after the associated job completes, or immediately when you delete a job. We do not view, share, or use your video content for any purpose other than processing.

4. Google OAuth

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name from Google. We do not receive your Google password. We do not access any other Google data or services.

5. Data Storage and Transfers

Your account data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted in the EU. Videos and reports are stored on Cloudflare R2 in EU/US regions. By using TallyRoad, you consent to this cross-border transfer.

6. Your Rights Under POPIA

You have the right to:

• Access personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Object to processing of your information

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure cloud storage, and authenticated access to all data. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.

8. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication only. These are necessary for the service to function. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
